I’m Katie, a photographer based in Little Rock and the owner of Katie Childs Photo. I photograph weddings, newborns, families, and commercial projects with a style that’s clean, honest, and relaxed.

I’ve been doing this for over a decade, and at this point I know how to read a room, calm a toddler, wrangle a wedding timeline, or work with a hospital comms team, (sometimes all in the same week!) My approach is pretty simple: pay attention, don’t overdo it, and make sure people feel like themselves.

My studio is located in downtown North Little Rock and works great for both natural light and lit studio portraits. It’s a calm, flexible space that’s especially ideal for newborns, families, and simple, clean headshots. Everything’s set up to keep things easy and low-stress. I also travel for weddings and commercial work, and regularly partner with hospitals, nonprofits, and small businesses on editorial projects.

Most of my clients come back again and again, which is the best kind of compliment. When I’m not working, I’m usually cooking dinner, climbing some rocks, or editing while someone yells "Mom" from the other room.
