NEWBORN FAQ

• Where will the session be?

  • We can do these in your home, or we can shoot them in the studio. The studio sessions are very similar to the in-home sessions. I set up an air mattress for posing, and we keep everything really simple and pretty. The studio is an excellent option if you don’t have a good spot setup at home if you think your house might be too small/dark, or if you just don’t want to worry about someone coming over.

• Can my other kids, pets, and family be in the photos?

  • Yes, of course. These sessions are really more of family sessions with some newborn individuals included.

• How will my baby be posed?

  • Newborn photography has gotten increasingly complicated over the last few years. I like to keep my poses and props very simple. We can get so many beautiful, timeless portraits with just your gorgeous baby and a swaddle.

• I love these outfits, can we do those?

  • Yes, of course. We can dress your baby in whatever you’d like but don’t stress if you don’t have any clothes that fit. I have a bunch of swaddles and wraps that we can use.
